This holiday season, the Mother of Light Center (MOLC) is spreading the joy of Christmas to families in need, and we need your help!
How You Can Help
Bring joy by donating gifts. See our Wish List and deliver your donations to MOLC by Thursday, December 12, or select the MOLC shipping address at check-out.
Our Goal
600 gifts for children (ages 1-10)
400 gift Cards ($25-$30)
Thanksgiving Meal Distribution
This Thanksgiving, the Mother of Light Center (MOLC) is on a mission to bring warmth, hope, and full holiday meals to over 500 families in our community.
How You Can Help
Volunteer: Pack and deliver meals from Nov 25-27. We need extra hands, especially Spanish speakers on delivery day, Nov 27. Volunteers must be 15 years or older.
Donate: Your financial support will help us purchase food and supplies to ensure every family gets a full Thanksgiving meal.
Date of Meal Distribution: Wednesday, November 27

Join Us at Art on the Avenue
Mother of Light Center is proud to be a featured artist at this year’s Art on the Avenue Festival! We will be showcasing beautiful creations from our Sewing School, where we empower women by teaching essential life skills through the art of sewing.
Art on the Avenue, a vibrant multicultural festival in Alexandria, Virginia, celebrates diversity through creativity. Join us on October 5 to experience MOLC’s talent and craftsmanship.

Spring2Action - Alexandria's Day of Giving!
Our 2024 Spring2Action goal is to raise $45,000 for additional space and equipment. This will enable us to meet the growing needs of our programs which provide critical food, faith, education, support and life skills to at-risk adults and youth within our local Alexandria community.
